The dates for exercising Web Options have been changed, as there was no decision taken by the Govt. on fee structure. The Schedule was postponed by one day. As per earlier schedule candidates with ranks 1-40000 were allowed to exercise options on August 30. As per new schedule, candidates from Rank 1 to 40000 can register for option entry by generating password, and can exercise options on Dt: 31/08/2012 and 01/09/2012. However, candidates can generate password on August 30 as per given schedule but they can exercise options only from August 31, 2012.

APEAMCET Counselling Notification , Procedure , Schedule and Date are s confirmed on Sunday

The EAMCET 2012 counselling notification will be announced tomorrow, the state’s higher education committee has confirmed on Sunday. The online option entry will be open from 30 August 2012 on the EAMCET 2012 official website and the last date for choice filling is 08 September 2012. To assist students with the entire counselling process 53 helpline centres will be established.

The facility to changes option entries will be enabled on 09  & 10 of September 2012. The seat allotment will be made on 12 September 2012 by 6 p.m. This year additionally 37,730 seats added as follows ECE 10700 seats, CSE 8730 seats, Mechanical 9260 seats and Civil 5720 seats.

The certificate verification will be on 27 August 2012.

Eamcet 2012 Counseling will be held from 6 th august 2012 this schedule will be released to press on Friday ..

The private medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh are refusing to admit MBBS students who have taken admission through Eamcet counselling in the state and pressing the state government not to implement the GO 136 as it requires private medical colleges to distribute management quota seats as per the merit list and in a transparent manner.

Over the past one month, there has been confusion amongst aspiring MBBS students, private medical college managements and parents regarding the issue of filling up of management quota MBBS seats in the state.

As there has been lots of complaints regarding auctioning of management quota seats, the government had proposed to fill Category C seats online to check irregularities and this has become a bone of contention.

Taking this into consideration, the private medical colleges are revolting against the state government and not accepting the admission of students enrolled through Eamcet stating that it has no power to interfere in the matter.

As there is already a writ petition filed in the High court by one Vark Prasad of Save Merit Society seeking a transparent online admission procedure and removal of against huge illegal capitation fees, the private management colleges are pressing on the government to let them decide on their own with regard to management quota ‘C’ category seats without any interference by the government.
