Violence erupts in Hyderabad:The area around the Charminar was once again the scene of violence on Friday afternoon as members of a community clashed with the police. They hurled stones at police personnel safeguarding the monument and burnt four four-wheelers and a bike. At least 7 people were injured in the heavy stone-pelting in the Pathergatti and Kalikamaan area.
The trouble began when members of the community reportedly tried to hold prayers inside the Charminar and were stopped by the police. “The community members were permitted to hold prayers in the (Mecca) Masjid but not inside the Charminar,” said additional commissioner of police Mohd Ahsan Reza, who was monitoring the situation together with other senior police officers and 300 police personnel.
A larger number of people than usual had gathered for the Friday prayers in Mecca Masjid. Once the prayers were over, some of them raised slogans against the police and tried to remove the barricade and gain entry to the Charminar.
Within minutes, the 500-square meter area around the Charminar had turned into a battleground. The furious mob burnt down two four-wheelers at Gulzar Houz.]

vizag steel plant 15 people were killed and several others injured at fire
At least 15 people were killed and several others injured in a major fire that broke out in Visakhapatnam Steel Plant Wednesday night, witnesses said.
The fire broke out following a huge blast in oxygen house of SMS II, a portion of public sector undertaking in the coastal city of Visakhapatnam also called as Vizag, about 600 km from here.
The death toll could go up several injured are said to be battling for life at Seven Hills Hospitals. The bodies were shifted to steel plant general hospital.
While there was no confirmation of death toll either from the steel plant authorities or police, legislator from Gajuvaka constituency C. Venkatramaiah and some other witnesses said as many as 15 people were killed.

Jagan is accused of conspiring with his father to dole out favors to companies which invested in his businesses in a quid pro quo arrangement.
The disproportionate assets case pertains to the Vadarevu and Nizampatnam Ports and Industrial Corridor (VANPIC) deal.
Industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad was the promoter in the VANPIC deal and allegedly invested Rs 850 Crore in the business of Jagan for land allotment made to the VANPIC project by the then YSR regime on quid-pro-quo basis.
Jagan declared movable and immovable assets of Rs 365 Crore while filing his nomination for the May 8 by-election to Kadapa Lok Sabha seat.
IBN reported that CBI has made following charges against Jagan.
1. Section 120b - Criminal conspiracy
2.Section 420 - Cheating
3.Section 477a - Forgery of documents
4.Section 409 - Criminal breach of trust

(CBI) on Sunday arrested Kadapa MP and YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy in connection to alleged disproportionate assets case registered against him.
The CBI made the arrest after questioning the Kadapa MP for three consecutive days. He was taken into CBI custody at 7.20pm this evening.
Reacting to the arrest, YSR Congress spokesperson Ambati Rambabu said his mother YS Vijayamma will lead the YSR Congress in Jagan's absence.
In order to prevent any untoward incident, Hyderabad police have already clamped Section 144 of CrPC in the city, besides heavy deployment of AP Special Police and RAF personnel on Raj Bhavan road.

The past two hours, Jagan has been under questioning by the CBI. Most of the questioning till now concerns the Vanpic Project and the massive investments into Jagan’s companies from Nimmagadda Prasad.
Earlier today, Jagan reached the CBI guesthouse at 10.40AM in the morning with a throng of supporters. Amidst that vocal throng of supporters, Jagan sat in the front seat of his vehicle and looked calm when he reached the guesthouse.
