Evans and Jackson supposedly would face each other in UFC

Evans and Jackson supposedly would face each other in UFC 98 but because Jackson had to undergo arthroscopic surgery to repair ligament damage in his jaw, Evans was scheduled to fight former UFC Light Heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida. There are many surrounding Rampage Jackson's career in UFC. He became busy with his first movie debut "A-Team" which will be released in theaters on June 11, 2010. Jackson admitted that he will skip his UFC matches than to miss the once-in-a lifetime opportunity in being part of Hollywood big screen. After few weeks, Jackson became upset the way UFC President Dana White treated him and finally decided to quit his MMA career. But now he's back and he wanted his belt back which was passed down to Griffin, Evans, Machida and now to Rua.
